Hawaii is famous for its year-round tropical climate! We have breezy tradewinds that blow in from the northeast that help us keep cool and
the warm Pacific waters are perfect for swimming any time of the year.

November marks the start of Hawaii's winter season. However, our average 'winter' daytime temperature is 78 degrees F. Yes, 78 degrees! At night, temperatures drop only about 10 degrees lower, so it's still possible to walk around in shorts and a t-shirt without being stared at like you're crazy.

Rain is also more common during the winter months, but there are certain parts of the island that are dryer than others. Waikiki is located in one of those drier areas and when it DOES rain, it is usually light and does not last very long. The wettest (and greenest!) parts of the island are the mountains and valleys on the northeastern side of the island.
